Birth Trauma Support
Gently reframe a difficult birth
Around 1 in 3 women in the UK experience birth trauma. You deserve to thrive — not just survive — and to feel calm, bonded and well.

The 3-Step Rewind
The 3-Step Rewind is a gentle, therapeutic approach that helps you reframe a traumatic birth experience — “a lovely gentle way to re-frame any memories into more positive ones.” It can ease symptoms such as sleep difficulties, hypervigilance, flashbacks, difficulty concentrating, panic, avoidance, numbness, irritability and hopelessness.
How the sessions work
Session 1
90 minutes. Sharing your story (if you wish), talking through the changes you’d like, and learning relaxation techniques.
Session 2
60 minutes. The rewind process itself, gently releasing troubling emotions.
Session 3
60 minutes. Reviewing your progress, repeating the rewind if helpful, and positive visualisation.
Common questions
Will the Rewind erase my memories?
No. The technique doesn’t erase memories — it gently reduces their emotional intensity, so you can reprocess them with a fresher perspective and far less distress.
Who is it for?
Anyone carrying trauma from pregnancy, birth, baby loss, hyperemesis, medical fears or related experiences — including partners and birth supporters who witnessed a difficult birth.
Is it the same as a PTSD diagnosis?
Not necessarily. Many people experience distressing symptoms after birth without a clinical PTSD diagnosis — and the Rewind can still help a great deal.
You don’t have to carry this alone
