Supporting you through a maternity system under pressure

Northern Ireland’s maternity services are stretched — limited midwifery contact, rushed appointments and little continuity of care. As your doula I offer the personalised support and care that helps you feel heard, respected and safe, whatever path your birth takes.

Advocacy that honours your choices

You have more choices than you might think — including which hospital you birth in. Advocacy is vitally important in getting your voice heard and your choices honoured, and I’ll help you and your partner communicate clearly to get the care you deserve.

I’m a non-medical birth supporter offering calm, practical and emotional support. I don’t provide clinical care or medical advice, or replace the role of a midwife or doctor.

Common questions

Can my partner and doula both support me during labour?

Yes — hospitals welcome doulas, and your partner stays central to your birth. For a planned caesarean we can speak with your medical team beforehand; for an unplanned one I wait in recovery to support feeding and bonding.

Do you offer payment plans?

I’m very happy to arrange payment plans to suit your individual circumstances — just ask.

When should I hire a doula?

Early in the second trimester is ideal, so we can build a trusting relationship and you get the best value from your support.

How many clients do you take at a time?

I take one client at a time, with a two-week window around your due date, so you always have my full attention and availability.

What if labour starts earlier or later than expected?

I’m on call from 38 weeks and make EVERY effort to be with you, whenever your baby decides to arrive.
