Common questions

When should I book a birth-planning session?

After around 20 weeks is ideal, once your pregnancy is well established and you’re starting to think about your options.

Can my partner be involved?

Absolutely — it’s a wonderful way for your birth partner to understand your wishes and feel confident supporting you.

Birth is unpredictable — is a plan still worth it?

Yes. A birth plan isn’t a script; it’s about understanding your options so you can make calm, informed choices whatever twists and turns labour brings.

Is it suitable after a previous difficult birth?

Very much so. Planning with care and compassion can help you feel more in control and prepared this time around.
